Farahad is a strategy games played with a web browser. You start as the ruler of a small province named by yourself. Your task is to develop and make it prosper. As the ruler of the province you have to cooperate with other provinces to avoid getting into too destructive wars. Together with some other provinces you form an empire. You can appoint a leader – a sovereign – to lead the empire and to appoint ministers.
The main objectives for each province is to grow and secure it's land. Therefore you will have to construct buildings and train defensive units. At first you are under protection for 48 days just so you don't get run over by other land hungry provinces. After the protection period is over only you as a leader can help your people.
Every hour a new day occur on Farahad meaning your people generates resources, units train and buildings are being constructed.
Every province belongs to an Empire with a corresponding Empire Number. You may either join the empire with your pack (See Empire Codes) or randomly join an empire.

If this is your first site then there are some things you may need to know:
- Your Wikidot site has two menus, one at the side called 'nav:side', and one at the top called 'nav:top'. These are Wikidot pages, and you can edit them like any page.
- To edit a page, go to the page and click the Edit button. You can change everything in the main area of your page. The Wikidot language is easy to learn but powerful.
- Every Wikidot page has a history of edits, and you can undo anything. So feel secure, and experiment.
- You can choose different themes in the Site Manager, and you can write your own theme if you know CSS.
